CONCRETE MAGAZINES
WOTJE
(1) Concrete ammunition storage. This is a standard type magazine found on most major Japanese bases. Note the square, sturdy appearance and the ventilator shafts. The construction is steel reinforced concrete. Usual camouflage is dazzle paint on sides and sod and vegetation on roof. They are generally arranged in rows or pairs well dispersed.

(2) Oblique close-up of one of the concrete magazines shown in the stereo to the left. Note sturdy construction with sod and shrub camouflage on roof and four ventilators in middle of four sides. A pile of empty fuel drums is present in background.

(3) Vertical view of concrete magazines shown in oblique to the
right. Note dispersal in pairs in this instance. The exact
relationship between the two buildings in each pair is not
known.
