Adirondack Museum

The Adirondack Museum is a regional museum of Adirondack history and art. The watercraft collection consists of 208 freshwater boats, primarily pleasure craft, as well as accessories such as rigs, paddles and oars, boatbuilder's tools and patterns.

Antique Boat Museum

The Antique Boat Museum is located in the 1000 Islands in Clayton, New York on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. The Museum displays a variety of watercraft from major powerboats to several examples of the St. Lawrence Skiff. The museum hosts one of the oldest wooden boat shows.

Canadian Canoe Museum

The Canadian Canoe Museum is home to the world's largest collection of canoes and kayaks, more than 600 watercraft and 1,000 related artifacts. The collection features wooden canoes, skin craft, dugouts from across North America and abroad.

Canada Science and Technology Museum

The small craft collection of the Canada Science and Technology Museum consists of 33 vessels and 140 small marine engines. In addition, the museum holds materials related to boat building, most notably the Daniel Herald/Rice Lake Collection, as well as trade literature and photographs.

Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

We house the largest collection of Chesapeake region watercraft, with 86 boats in the collections. Prominent among them is the last sailing log bugeye, Edna E. Lockwood, but the collection also includes multiple historic log canoes, deadrise skiffs, gunning boats, and recreational boats.

HABS 'Built in America' Collection

HABS/HAER Maritime Program - The collections consist of archivally produced measured and interpretive drawings, large-format photographs, and historical narratives. The program's mission is to document maritime sites including ships, lighthouses, and marine industries.

Maine Maritime Museum

Situated on the Kennebec River in Maine, we preserve the Percy & Small shipyard, where the largest wooden schooners ever built were launched. Our small craft collection includes over 130 fishing, lobstering, and recreational vessels, from Hereshoff kayaks to our 56’ pinky schooner.

Mariners Museum

The International Small Craft Center at The Mariners' Museum features over 140 boats from 36 nations. The collection includes fishing craft from Taiwan to Africa, dugout canoes from the Americas and broad, Chris-Craft runabouts, and a great variety of sailing and rowing craft.
