The San Francisco Maritime National Park Association’s Ninth Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, October 4 at the Herbst Pavilion, Fort Mason. The evening will start at 6:00pm with cocktails and a silent auction followed by dinner, award presentation, live auction and dancing.
This year’s Maritime Heritage Award honoree is Association Trustee Anne Halsted. We will also celebrate the 160th anniversary of American President Lines, a cornerstone of modern maritime culture and a long time supporter of the Association.
Proceeds from this event support the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association’s mission of maritime education and preservation. Your participation will help provide underserved Bay Area school children with access to our life-changing Age of Sail education programs. Over 2,000 kids attend our programs on scholarships annually, funded in part by proceeds raised at the Gala. All of our education programs offer kids challenges and experiences in a positive, inspiring and safe environment.
